Otavalo is the most important Indian city of Ecuador because of its Andean culture and one of the biggest markets in Latin America. It is located in the heart of the Andes and is close to very interesting scenic sites such as San Pablo Lake, the Imbabura Volcano, Peguche Waterfall, Cotacachi, and Cuicocha Lake which is located in the crater of a huge volcano. In Otavalo student live with local families. Students can experience different uristic activities alone or with their teachers in order to learn more about Indian culture, traditional food, music, paints, dress and traditions. Students also have the option to learn our native language (Quichua) too.
